Tiny bubbles?
little colouring book and crayons?
tiny Lego set?
little cars?
tiny doll or Teddy and feeding toys/outfits.

I loved making goody bags when my kids were little. 😊

Our kids always had a checklist of things to look out for on the journey which they could tick off. I changed it depending on where we were travelling to and how we were travelling.

A small magnet set or magnetic game can keep them entertained for a while!
Small pot of play dough.
Wipe clean exercise book with sums/writing.

Ds had an Usborne pack of wipeable maze games that was fun. A little tangram type of puzzle!

Depending on whether they are young or old for their age:

Twistables
Logic puzzles/thinking skills book
Sticker books
Vinyl sticker scenes/ Fuzzy felt
Lacing cardboard animals
Small craft kit e.g. a mini sew-your-own kit with a plastic needle or a diamond painting kit
Air dry clay and felt pens to colour it in
Snacks
