Hanging around waiting to hear news of my boy - he’s wanted to join since he could speak. My nerves are shot, come and join me and keep me company

Hi luv, how're you doing?
I feel your concern over your boy and you must be proud of his lifelong ambition to be in the military.
It takes a certain kind of person to feel that strongly about representing your country this way.
I don't know if you know this, but there is, on Facebook a closed and official Armed Forces Network (Army Parents Network) run by the MOD that's especially set up to support family members of those who enter the armed forces.
It's a place where parents can ask questions and receive advice directly from the chain of command.
I think that you would be best off engaging with them as they know what you're going through and they know how to answer any questions or concerns you have.

Good luck to your boy!

Good luck to your son!

As a military mum I have to warn you, this is only the beginning; if he gets in your nerves will be shot permanently! I agree with pp - seek out online support from parents going through the same stage. It's a wild ride.
