Where to go in Spain

me and dh would like to go somewhere in Spain. We'd like beautiful sandy beaches, a nice town to go out in the evening but not a clubbers paradise. I've been looking but the more I research the more confused I feel! Menorca looked perfect but I'm not sure if it will be too quiet. I've just read that fuerteventura is soulless. Please give me your recommendations! Thanks

Lanzarote is my favourite canary island. Majorca is my favourite Balearic.
Sevilla is my favourite city
Valencia, Malaga and Barcelona all have nice beaches

Javea looks lovely but does it have nice beaches? Google says you need to wear beach shoes...

Conil de la Frontera. Sandy beaches, town lively enough but not extreme.

Nerja

Have a look at Alicante and surrounding areas, lots of lights to choose from, El Campello is nice also Villa Joyosa, Altea, Calpe, Gran Alicant.A bit further up the coast is Denia, Javea and Moraira.

Estepona about an hour down the coast from Malaga is lovely.

Also, Santa Eulalia in Ibiza.

Palma Nova in Majorca

Estepona, huge sandy beach, great coastal walking path, low rise development, charming old town with some excellent restaurants. not a nightclubbing place.

Nerja is really lovely and in easy reach of Malaga

Depends how touristy or expensive you like. I love Pals beach in Catalonia, big sandy stretch, quiet, lovely medieval villages nearby - need a car.
PP said Conil, agree with that but can be v windy on that Atlantic coast.

Menorca is lovely, quieter than Mallorca which I didn't like much. On the mainland, we went to a little place called Cala de Mijas on the costa del sol which was lovely too, not noisy, not too crowded.

Ignore the naysayers about Fuerteventura! Just had a week self catering (Airbnb) there and was lovely, is just more laid back/ chilled.

We stayed in Morro Jable in Jandia, just over an hour drive transfer from the airport but worth it as the beach at Morro Jable is stunning! Not crowded, miles of soft sand and up the beach a really cool wetlands area mostly protected but you can wade around up to the wooden posts. The waves can be a little frisky but get past the breakers couple of meters in and is fine for swimming. Plenty of nice restaurants and shops at the beachfront, no nightclub vibe.
It’s known to be a bit windy but the breeze was nice in the heat
