Has anyone had chest tightness and light-headedness with normal tests?

I had a weird experience today and wondered if anyone had ever had the same happen to them… I had some chest sensations that felt really tight and heavy and it went up into my neck for a while. Long enough to be noticeable something was weird. About ten minutes later I started to feel really distant and fuzzy and really faint with some very mild tingling in my left arm. I felt really strange with waves of light headedness and nausea for about half an hour in total and then just really shaky for hours after.

I did go to a&e and they ran various tests but at the end of it all they found nothing concerning (though my blood pressure was quite high for me - stage 1 hypertensive - when usually it’s never been anything other than perfect).

all other tests indicated no sign of anything cardiovascular so obviously I was discharged but I feel a bit uneasy about it all.

I would note I’ve had plenty panic attacks in the past and have never felt anything like this - it just felt clear something was off to me but I appreciate sometimes panic attacks can be different.

wondered if anything similar had ever happened to anyone else and whether a reason was ever found? I’m waiting on a couple more blood tests for b12 and vitamin d to come back but that won’t be until tomorrow so I’m just back at home feeling a bit weird.

Presume A&E will advise your GP if your BP is of concern?

Yes they didn’t really mention my blood pressure much but it’ll all be sent to GP anyway. I think I’ll follow up but it felt like such a significant event for it to actually be nothing.
