Next dogs.
Just thinking maybe 2 greyhounds called Valerie & Caroline or dachsies called Colin & Roger

I met two dogs this week called Guess and Hugh

I always liked the combo of Fred and Eric . Or Dave and Kenny .

I love the idea of a pair of greyhounds called Valerie and Caroline! My next dog will be a small to medium sized terrier called Dorothea (or maybe Nancy)

I have two imaginary spaniels called Mabel and Elsie.

I’ll always have spaniels, I love the energy. Names are tricky, I don’t really like human names for dogs, although Valerie and Caroline are excellent! I like one syllable names for easy recall. I’m seriously considering ‘Dog’ as a simple coverall 🤣.

Has to be said the two hunting Bassett idiots I have now get merged as in myrtlelunaeven. They both answer to it

If I ever get another dog it will be a grey rescue whippet (or small greyhound) called Cement.

(Waits to see if anyone gets the reference ...)

BTW I went to a stately home/NT place the other day where the lady of the house established a dog cemetery which was very moving; dogs had 1920s type names like Tokyo and Hamish. And then there was one called Ian ...

My next dog will be (my second) Pyrenean mountain dog. Going to call him Leroy or Doug. No idea why, just feels right!
