Anyone else put the heating on yesterday?

It felt so cold and damp yesterday that I put the heating on for a couple of hours. How are you all drying washing that can’t be tumbled in this weather?

It pissed down most of the morning and afternoon, here. We don't all have the exact same weather.

I did. And felt so guilty!!! But I was so cold and I’m not one for feeling the cold generally.

Yep, guilt as charged! Glad I wasn’t the only one 😅

Yep,also turned electric blanket on before I went to bed. Being cold makes me miserable and bad tempered.

I had a fire going in my lounge yesterday afternoon north facing room that felt very cold. In the evening had my electric throw on me. It’s extremely windy here today and the outside temperature is 17c but the wind chill makes it feel cooler.

Yes I was so cold my dp thought i was insane so im glad I see this thread

I saw posts form two different people on my fb feed with their log burners going ! We just got the blankets back out for the sofa.

No but had it been a weekend day, I’d have taken the excuse to light the fire. I miss it in the summer.
