Air spraying painting kit for decorating

DD has just bought a Flat in a Victorian house with 12 foot ceilings. The rooms are big too.

The quote she got to paint it was far beyond her budget and I wondered whether it was worth hiring an air sprayer and having a go at doing it ourselves.

I’ve watched a video on how to do a ceiling and I don’t think we could manage that, but I do think it would be worthwhile for the walls.

Anyone done it in their own home. How did you get on?

If you get the mix right it’s fine, I believe most painters however still use a roller. If the mix is wrong it can run and then you have to allow it to dry and you have the faff of fixing it. We have one but I always roller indoor walls. The key is to get a premium roller and buy trade paint from Brewers or The Paint Shed.
