Overly patriotic/hate ai based Facebook pages

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this recently, but Facebook seems to be full of pages posting content that appears to be created using AI. Many of them also push highly patriotic or divisive themes and often have names like “UK Life”, “UK First”, or “United Kingdom”.

I was curious about why these pages seem to be everywhere, so I looked into it. From what I found, many of them appear to be run from overseas, with a significant number linked to countries such as Sri Lanka. The more people engage with these posts by liking, commenting, and sharing them, the more money the page owners can potentially make. As well as causing division!

If you have family members, especially older relatives, who regularly interact with these pages, it might be worth encouraging them to be more cautious and avoid engaging with them. I am certain that they are also being used to harvest victims for scams.

Has anyone else noticed how widespread these pages have become?

Yes they are encouraging people to like or comment, they are generating unrest and I believe from other countries who would like to see this country ruled by reform.
