Facebook banning

In March my fb account was suspended along with the work account I ran. No reason was given other than violation of rules on the work account.

I was offered an appeal which I did and they just say it will be reviewed and if not reviewed in 6 months my accounts will be deleted. (I did nothing wrong I can see).

Now three months down the line I’m thinking I will never get it back and have given up hope.

It’s cured my fb addiction but I am sad for some of the people I have lost contact with and also my memories. There is no one I can contact from Meta.

Does anyone else have experience of this?

Trying to regain access to a FB/Instagram account is virtually impossible. You’d be better off creating a new one and readding everyone.

Thank you. I have done that but only really using it for a social group I’m on. I suspect the old account has gone for good.

Neigh on impossible to get a account back once banned on facebook. They don’t ban randomly ao you must of done something bad.

They DO ban randomly, for no genuine reason, because they're arseholes!

Some years ago, FB banned me for no genuine reason.

I was being pestered by this weirdo who kept sending me private messages demanding ''services'' and passports, and money. He was from, he said, America and working in navy/army/oil rigs/medical, whatever. It's amazing how many of them ''work'' in such things, never on the tills at Tesco!

He was pestering me several times a day, 7 days a week. Posting up that I should contact him immediately. His spelling and grammar were absolutely appalling. I blocked, deleted and reported, but FB never did anything about him. He kept getting new accounts up and pestering me that way. I never responded, but one day I'd had enough and messaged him back, saying, privately saying if I get just one more message then I'll publicly post his profile photo, details he'd put up about his ''job'', his area/country and also the phone and emails he'd added, as a warning to all other females there. That he's a sexual predator and a scammer, pestering me for sex and a whole load of other stuff.

He messaged back angrily; again, FB never did anything about him, so I did as I said and plastered him all over the public site.

I was then immediately banned for life while that bag of shit was allowed to carry on pestering women! Typical Zuckieborg attitude towards women!

About 3 years later, I got a new account going.
