The letter you would never send

I have one and I ll share it with you.

A picture pooped up on my social media and reminded me of an unfortunate liaison/relatioship that i woud delete from my life if I had the super power. Here goes

Ah ,,,,,, it's you, with your thick neck and eyes too close together.

I d forgotten you bought a bed that didn't fit in the shit room, in the shit house, in the shit place you chose to live.

I forgot you took a young women who thought you were single and took her to your pokey flat, with a posh sofa and fancy books you ve probably not read. And this is my favourite bit, you badmouthed your partner who probably paid for the majority of it. I was convinced you were a sorry excuse for a human but humans have back bones.

Anyway how is Monty ? Minty?, from the pictures you showed me i couldn't tell if it's a man or a woman

Too much????

Are you asking for us to share letters we’d never send? Sorry, just slightly confused by your post.

I hate you

YelramBob · 09/06/2026 20:20

I get you OP. Write it but never send it.

He sounds like an utter pathetic waste of space anyway, if you'd posted that story on here he'd have rightfully been ripped to shreds.

What a good thread idea @Loveadonkey
I often forget that MN can be a place for good.

Not sure I feel comfortable sharing mine as it’s controversial. Perhaps another time but I hope people see this thread as a form of closure and mental health support.

They’re not fatty spots because I’m fat. It’s a condition called Keratosis Polaris.
I wasn’t faking headaches from the age of 5 to avoid chores, at age 50, now and having seen various neurological specialists around the UK, I am finally on a medication that works for me.
I had a tonsillectomy and now can eat and swallow comfortably after decades of being unwell, but thanks for sending me to school time and time again just to be sent home, resulting in an IV drip being inserted in to me repeatedly because I was an inconvenience at home.

I was actually worthy of a driving license and a car, I did get a job and saved and my child is also worthy it. But I’m glad the rent you charged me since I was 13 helped you out. You do remember you said I would be homeless if I didn’t pay my way, yes, and that your son was able to attend Cubs and Scouts and music lessons and everything else he wanted to?

Yes I do have mental health issues, as well as many hidden complex physical illnesses that consultants are struggling with, but my God, I just keep going, I absolutely will not be the same mother to my child that I had.

I have 9 A4 pages of situations, of sentences you traumatised me with, of narcissistic triangulation. I am grateful to not be in touch with you or any of my family of origin.

Thankyou for giving me the one lesson to be open minded and to know that when someone tells a story, there is always a page or two missing.
