Sold our business and now feeling a bit lost at home

DH and I recently sold the business that has been the focus of our lives for 5 years. My main reasons for wanting this was to spend more time with the kids. We have been doing this but they are in school obviously for a chunk of the day and the eldest has started walking home from school and having time with friends.
DH was offered some consultation work and although said it would be one day a week it, he is doing much more. I had envisioned us spending some time together but this just isn't happening and so I feel out on a limb.
We are moving house in about 6 weeks for I am doing little bits for that and am putting alot of energy into eating better and going to the gym, but I feel quite lost and not how I expected to feel if I am honest.
I KNOW THIS IS AN INCREDIBLY FORTUNATE POSITION TO BE IN. I AM NOT BRAGGING I PROMISE! But I actually feel a bit lost...
Has anyone else been in this position and what did you do?
There is alot of things I could be doing for the new house but they all involve spending money which seems wrong with no income. 😂Not something I thought I would ever say!

I think this is quite common with retirement and you are effectively doing that early. Suddenly the focus and structure of your daily life disappears and not everyone has a natural replacement for that.

Will you be seeking any future employment or income? Do you need any training or experience to do that?

What hobbies or life skills would you like to develop?

Is there any charitable or community project you could get involved with?

I think you need to bring some structure to your week back. Not as full time as having your own business but something to occupy yourself a bit.
