Online shopping - just unlucky or is a nightmare now? Parcels disappearing, refunds slowwwwwwww

Bought 3 items online in May
One item from White Stuff which I ordered to be sent to the store nearest me, never arrived. Lost in transit. It was a jacketin the sale, none left to re-buy.

Bought an item from Superdry - been chasing it up for delivery (going to an Inpost box at a nearby shop) for a fortnight l. Apparently missing in transit.

Bought trainers from Saucony. Too small returned them beginning of May. Still no refund (they have received them). Chased them 3 times.

Shopping is becoming really hard work - spent longer chasing up the good than actually than the fun part of actually selecting goods.

I guess there's a black hole where parcels fall into andcate never seen again.

It is frustrating. I no longer order anything small to my house to limit lost parcels.
I think you've been unlucky with the items not arriving to store/locker.

I miss the days when shopping was fun!

I use a well known online auction site.

I find their buyer protection and no quibble guarantee service pretty good.

Had a number of items not turn up. The tracking has always showed not delivered and the refund has been no hassle, provided you are willing to wait a few days.

I would never ship items anything other than tracked.

Who was the courier? I’ve had so many things go missing with Relay that I’ve given up

There’s an online store that I won’t use any more. Twice they’ve sent the wrong item, it’s been returned immediately, then it’s a merry go round of sending photos of the post office receipt, the tracking details and proof that the return was delivered They even managed to deliver to an address I had deleted over a year ago.
