For me, it's Shirley MacLaine.

I don't know how many people remember her but she was a big star in the 60s/70s/80s.

In her interviews, she is extremely articulate. She has the demeanour of someone who is educated and calm under pressure.

However, I have read that she was a 'neglectful' mother. She left her husband, with whom she had an open marriage, to raise her daughter in another country with his mistress.

She believes she has seen aliens, UFOs and is reincarnated from Atlantis.

I believe she also believes in the healing power of crystals.

There are some pretty controversial things she has said about various topics.

Despite all of this, I do think she was beautiful when younger and a great actress.

There is something about her that means I can't take my eyes off of her when she's in a movie!

Edited to add: Her brother is Warren Beatty.

They're people and everyone is different. I think the issue for actors is that they can become synonymous with characters they have played or known for a particular performance, but they are only pretending to be that character when all is said and done. (Let's not get into a method acting debate!) Just be sure someone is famous does not mean they have to be a paragon of virtue. Just because they played a learned scientist doesn't mean they have to be very bright. Also in the so-called Golden Age of Hollywood, the studios created images for them and they were closely guarded. Women in particular were stereotyped from early in their careers.

Sean Connery.

Beautiful looking man who defended domestic violence. His first wife wrote an autobiography describing how he mentally and physically abused her.
