Does she take meds for anxiety or need to be?
Dogs make wonderful pets and for a anxious person the right breed makes a great friend and companion.

No absolutely not i dont want her to take meds at such a young age! Weve been through alot of talkin therapy with professionals but my shock is that dogs was a massive part of her fear, she never visited my mums or sisters for 14yrs so y all of a sudden does she feel like she wants a dog?? Dogs r for life n i cant risk her bein scared coz wot wud i do??

You say no. Apart from her anxiety dogs need a lot of care that you or she will need to do so realistically if you’re not up for walking, training and caring for a dog it’s not practical to get one. You also can’t really leave a dog at home for long periods of time so if you’re working it’ll be tricky, and they’re a tie when it comes to holidays etc. Unless you want a dog for yourself.
