Graduation meal in Liverpool

Looking for some recommendations for somewhere to go for a bit of nice food after our daughter’s graduation next month. Shes a bit of a fussy Annie so don’t want anything cordon bleu or Michelin star esque, she likes Italian food (well, pizza and pasta 😂) steak, burgers etc not seafood.

I’ve asked her but typically as a student she has survived on Botan/Maccies after a night out and the odd Nando’s when she’s been feeling flush so she’s not really got much insight into where might be decent. I’m conscious that during grad week we’ll need to book so keen to get somewhere sorted so I can forget about it as we’re pretty busy in the run up. So hit me with any suggestions please!

Oh after googling those I think we’ve been to the Italian Club before when visiting her and it was delicious. The garlic bread lives long in my memory.

Ooh that sounds nice, might have to go there next time we visit my son in Liverpool.

Don't know if you would prefer something fancier for a graduation but we always go to cosmo when we visit my son. Something for everyone, even my fussy eating 15 year old and they do a student discount during the week too.

I’ve just booked Bistro Pierre for mine. Although in Nottingham, though there is one in Liverpool. They have a graduation menue. Villa Romana on Wood street in Liverpool is lovely. And I like moose coffe.

Foe my daughter’s graduation we went to The Carriage Works. We went to the Art School the other day and that was excellent too.

Another vote here for Bem Brasil. It's great for people who like good meat and it's right in the middle of the city.

We always like Chinatown - New Capital usually, although I do like the Mayflower which is just outside Chinatown. Maybe less celebratory though.

No recommendations for restaurants @JasonTindallsTan but just to say enjoy the Graduation! 👩‍🎓

We had my son's in Liverpool (cathedral) last summer and it was a fabulous day. It was also great being able to dress up for once and show our son off 😍 not that anyone cared as they were all doing the same!
