How much loo roll do you get through in a week?

All the time I was running a family home, I out one fresh on in the bathroom and one in the downstairs loo when I cleaned them each week. It always seemed perfectly adequate - 4 of us.

There was a brief spell when DSs were teens when it increased 🤣

I'm currently on a cottage holiday with new BF, we've been here 5 days and the third loo roll is empty.

What's he doing with it?!

Some people just use stupid amounts.

For myself and my late partner, we would use up an 18 pack every 4-5 months. My mother buys the same pack every month for her and my step dad. She often accused him of eating it as a midnight snack.

3 adults, a roll a day and we have had bank loans and therapy for it.

3 loo rolls for 2 people in 5 days is ridiculous! Is he eating it? Using it to dry himself after a shower or packing it in his bag to bring home?

A friend with IBD can get through most of a roll in a day.

I think she'd prefer not to use that much but when you have to go, you have to go.

All rolls are not created equal! I used to buy the cheapest ones and with a family of four, me at home most days, we would get through one a day easy. Now there are only two of us at home and I tend to buy better (double length) rolls, one will last us for three days. Only have one toilet.

One double roll a day between 3 of us. I’m at home all day with an overactive bladder and IBS.

Depends on the quality and the users. If you have people who use loads buy the cheap stuff.
If it's just you buy the good stuff.

5 of us. I buy 48 loo rolls around every 5/6 months.

It really depends on the quality of the loo roll but I have a IBS and a good diet and drink a lot of water so I definitely use more than the average person. I don’t even leave the house in the morning unless I’ve had 2 poos which is more than some people squeak out in a week

You should probably add more fibre to your diet

One roll every 2-4 days for two people. Dependent on time of month and/or onions.

Surely it depends how much time you spend at home. I'm at work all day and often out in the evening, away for the weekend. A roll will last me around three/four weeks

I’ve mainly WFH this week, and have been on my own (live with DP but he’s away) - I have used three double rolls since he left last Thursday. I drink a lot of tea when I’m at home, and also have IBS.

I don't really keep a count.

18 loo rolls in 5 months for 2 people which one poster said (which would be around 3-4 loo rolls a month,) and one roll lasting one person 4 weeks (as another poster said) seems verrrry low. As a pp said, it sounds like they need more fibre! 😆

48 rolls every 3 months so a roll lasts nearly 2 days.

1 adult + 2 teenage girls.

I note that when one of my DDs is home, our loo roll consumption quadruples overnight. My DM used to say the same of one of my sisters. Some people just like generous amounts.

I have me plus three adult children and use of two bathrooms. A big standard (see what I did there) roll (ie not a super cheapie or super quilted one) in each lasts 2-3 days I think.
