Driving test help now the rules have changed?

DD has just failed her driving test for the third time. We managed to get this one booked through Testi, but that’s no good now the new rules have come in. I was always told that new tests are released at 6am on Monday, but that’s not worked for months. Have things changed? Is there a new time when tests are released?

They are released at that time but you have to be in the queue earlier. Then refresh the moment it hits 6am.
Another technique is to just try random times during the day. You may pick up a cancellation.

I’ve done the whole thing of being online with everything ready to go on an early
Monday morning but there are literally no tests at all. Nothing comes up at the local centre ever—including a Monday morning. .

the message about Montrose is interesting. That’s about 30 mins awqy.

Testi still works - in that it will alert you to new tests. You jist have to log on yourself to change the test. Used it yesterday as DD failed and earliest test we could get was November but testi came up yesterday with one for this month.

just bear in mind you can only change your test twice now.

I was looking in October before the rules came out, never used an app to help me, I just constantly logged into the site multiple times a day whenever I got a chance, found loads this way, assuming they were cancellations that had just become available, I never once logged in at 6am. Be aware with apps like testi as yes they still work just in a different way but I’ve seen a lot of tests cancelled lately due to them using the apps (not sure how they know).
