Called NHS 111 about my son

So called for my teenage son..I got a call back in two hours and after a few questions she said would I like him to be seen , to which I said yes and she said I will get an appointment call back in 6 hours.
6 hours works out as 3am at the latest. Does this mean they will want me to bring him in at 3am? Or that they will call me to give me an appointment for later in the day? I should have asked then but it was all rather rushed

Will depend entirely on the triage process and how urgent they think it is. Also did they say in 6 hours or within 6 hours?

Could you call 111 back and ask for clarification? I would lean towards it being a phone call back, but I don’t know anything about your son’s situation.

She said they would call back with an appointment.

They’ll call you back within 6hours to give you an appointment time, that might be in the morning or you might have to go in, in the early hours it will depend on how he is triaged.
Keep your phone beside you and on noise incase you nod off and be semi ready to go. Last time I called my appointment was 30mins from the call at 1am and I was 20 mins away from the OOH so it was a bit tight for getting there
