Not trying but got baby stuff?

Has anyone bought small baby stuff even if you’re not trying YET but have agreed you want a child next within the next year with your partner. My sister has donated me some baby clothes, obviously my partner isn’t ready to try yet till next year but said he is happy for us to keep them etc. Wonder if anyone was on a similar page. x

I bought several things before we started trying but then it took us years to get pregnant so I forgot about all the things I bought and had to donate them as I only re-discovered them when she was too big to fit in any of them. (I still think about that peter rabbit play suit and the Jojo Mama Bebe onesies.
