Blood blisters inside cheeks from hot or sharp foods?

For the last couple of years, I have noticed that sharp foods and hot foods (even mildly hot), as in temperature and not spice, cause blood blisters on my inner cheeks!

This was never a thing for me my whole life, that I ever noticed, and now it happens at least once a week?

I've been to the dentist and he said my "mucosa" was healthy but I didn't mention it to him because I didn't think about it but, also, I keep reading that it's not really a big deal if they come but then go.

Is this an age thing? A weight loss thing?

I get them on roof of my mouth and back of throat. I take an inhaler and that has made my mouth more sensitive.

Thank you for responding! That is interesting. I am not on any medication but it is an interesting thing to note that something could be changing sensitivity etc. Sorry to learn you're a fellow sufferer!

Not sure if they are blood blisters or not but I get similar at the back of my throat after eating. They are like really small lumps and feel like I’ve got something stuck in the back of my throat. If I run my finger / nail over them they go away

only started recently though, I thought perhaps one of those weird menopausal things!

Oh, that is very strange!! Maybe it's perimenopause related! It's the beginning of the end for me 😕
