Hi everyone.
I had a routine eye test in November 2025. The fundus photograph showed a potential blurred optic nerve. Optometrist completed an OCT scan and said she could see a tilted disc but would do a referral to the eye hospital. I have horrendous health anxiety due to a previous cancer diagnosis. I phoned the hospital and they said it had been marked as routine.
My appt has now come around and it is tomorrow- with neuro opthamology (which is 7 months after referral was sent) I am worrying so much.
Does anybody have any words of reassurance? Thank you so much- I would appreciate any feedback to get me through tonight xx
