Voluntary work - Birmingham area

I’m looking for a few hours of voluntary work each week - soup kitchens, charity shops etc. Any suggestions, please? Thank you. Ideally Selly Oak/ Bourneville/ Edgbaston areas as I don’t have transport.

It’s Volunteers Week this week, so many charities will be heavily promoting their opportunities.

have you looked at the website that ITV are promoting? I think it’s called GoVo, or something similar.

or contact your CVS or CAB to ask what local volunteering websites they recommend.

I’m not local to you which is a shame because I’ve got several vol opportunities which you might be interested in.

Check out this Midlands Sailability group. You don't always need to be able to sail to help out at Sailability groups, land based volunteers are usually required too.
