Raised an absolute fortune for charity over the years.....I don't really follow football but have found myself sticking it on a few times over the years. Kudos to him.

And Jonathan Wilkes - he always seems to get left out of the plaudits. I am not remotely a football fan - but I think what they have achieved is incredible.

Yes it’s brilliant isn’t it? I think he saw a celebrity charity sports game being in America and it planted the seed. He founded it with his best mate who still works behind the scenes to make it happen. I think it was initially supposed to be a one off then happened every 2 years before becoming an annual thing. They get some massive names desperate to play in it! My dc and I love watching it. Would like to actually go one year but being on a Sunday night is a bugger.

Apparently it’s the only adult game which the FA allow men and women to play side by side.

I'd forgotten, it was so long ago. Probably just as well he has something to focus his hyper energy on.

I think I knew this at one time but had forgotten.

I'll admit to not being a fan of his - I was particularly grossed out by reading about his behaviour at the birth if his first child - but I was pleasantly surprised by the Soccer Aid foundation.

Now I feel old 🙃. I went to the first ever one. Old Trafford had just been extended. No one really knew if it was going to work out, but the tickets were too expensive, so off we went!
