Has the covid virus affected the parts of our brains related to social behaviour?

People behave so badly in public now compared to before covid. By the sounds of it this is something that's happening across the world. Is it really just caused by lockdown and the internet or could the virus itself play a part?

I don’t know, but people are definitely more self centered than they used to be.

There was a poster who said that Covid does affect the brain like even if you had a very mild case -

I can't remember what they said, but it was quite convincing except when I looked up to find some science I couldn't find any!

I don't think it's just that people are rude. I feel that people are different. And there seems to be a much higher level of alarming kind of lack of logic and everything

I don't feel as if social media is enough of an explanation so I have wondered this too

especially if it's a man-made virus, it could've been tweaked to do all kinds of weird things

One of my friends said she feels like people are still walking around with their souls removed! Which of course we could accept in summer of 2021 but it doesn't make sense now

friends who live abroad have said the same thing I feel like it's one of those things that gets talked about quite a lot but there's no actual science yet is there?

I think many people really showed themselves to be entitled and rude during the pandemic, as well as short-tempered, abusive and greedy. It has remained like that with a lot of people.
