Scared of what symptoms could mean

Im Not sure why I’m posting but I’m lying awake feeling terrified of what these symptoms could mean.
I am 12 weeks pregnant and the last week have had diarrhoea with random awful stomach cramps that feel like trapped wind (which I don’t have) I’m nauseous but not in a pregnancy way, if that makes sense, and am all of a sudden exhausted and the smallest of tasks take so much energy and I become breathless. I also have abdominal pain where the slightest touch can hurt and just feel constantly bloated. I went to the gp today but they didn’t examine my stomach, gave me some anti sickness tablets and told me to do a sample. My mind is going to bowel cancer, but I do always think the worst when it comes to illness. Has anyone else had these symptoms and it turn out to be something else?

I had a cyst on my ovary when pregnant-that was painful - might be that, some of it could be hormones

It could be anything OP - sounds like some kind of infection but could be Crohns, ulcerative colitis, h pylori or just a strange pregnancy side effect. A week isn’t very long really - I had a bunch of gastric symptoms earlier this year (pain, diarrhea and constipation, some bleeding) for about 2 months. The GP ran a bunch of tests but couldn’t find anything wrong, and eventually it just went back to normal slowly.

I know it’s hard but please try not to worry.

Have you had any scans or pregnancy related appointments yet to ensure your pregnancy is in your uterus?

Are you midwife or consultant led? If the latter I’d mention it to them, they’ll likely have a bit more pull with getting you checked. It definitely doesn’t sound normal however bowel cancer would be my last thought.

If you suffer from health anxiety, try to get on top of that either through medication (there are several which are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding) or by therapy. Parenting is hard, combine that with health anxiety and your mental health will be a mess which isn’t good for you or your baby.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. I fell asleep and haven woken with my stomach making such loud gurgling noises, feeling so sick and urgently needed the toilet.
I have had an internal scan and a regular scan and no one was concerned so I assume all was ok.
I probably do have health anxiety and I automatically fear the worst when me or one of my children are ill, therapy wouldn’t be the worst thing for me anyway tbh!
I did initially think chrons aswell but my mind started to wander. I started to feel better this afternoon and was hopeful but this eve I felt awful again
I’ll send a sample off tomorrow and see what the gp says
thank you xx
