Waking at 3-4am every single day

I’m slightly at my wits end here so need either advice or solidarity!

I am waking up between 3-4am every single morning. Some mornings I’ll go back to sleep but others (today) I won’t.
I’m 45yrs old working FT in a senior role and I’m getting worried about long term effects of this.

For context I go to bed around 10ish but usually wake once in the night to go
for a wee, I’m on HRT already and have been for 3 yrs. Already taking magnesium tablets but think they’re upsetting my stomach as I’m also suffering with diarrhoea every morning too.
I exercise regularly so trying to all the right things to induce sleep.

I am going to make a Drs appointment as wondering if it is high cortisol levels.

Can anyone empathise or provide a solution?

It could be a drop in blood sugar levels, apparently that is a thing. Try something carb heavy before bed.
My son swears a glass of milk and a banana helps his sleep.
