How can I stop feeling anxious about money despite good savings?

I’m 30 and I have 2 young toddlers. I work 2 days a week and they go to nursery 2 days.
I have worked hard and have a good savings base (around 55k mostly invested).
I also have my pots for this year all filled for all expenses that can happen.
DH covers majority of the bills and I cover a few, but I’m always anxious about money!

I was never this bad when I was working full time but now even when we’re on family days out or generally nipping to the shops I’m always stressing about money!
I find I can’t even enjoy things properly and I don’t know why it’s so overwhelming.
I want to enjoy my life too and I still manage to save abit every month (around £400)

How do I get myself out of this mindset

Following, as I have the same problem. Ironically, when I was earning less and not paying any attention to savings/pensions etc I worried a lot less. But after having a partner who had lots of spreadsheets and knew where every penny went, and encouraged me to do the same, I feel very anxious about money, even though I’m living comfortably.

It's the way you were brought up. I'm much the same and always worrying about spending. How much is it? How much will I have left? How can I make the money up again? Completely unnecessary. We had nothing when I was a child and I don't want that situation back.
