Is it usual to tip staff at a cattery when paying in cash?

I've had cats all my life but never used a cattery as an adult before - one of my new additions refuses to go outside so I didn't think a daily visit by a cat sitter would be enough. I'm about to collect her but have just seen they only take cash or cheques. I haven't had a cheque book in years so cash it is. But the amount won't be a round number so it has got me thinking should I tip?? No idea if this would be expected for the kennel girl perhaps? Like a hotel? But would she get it? Can anyone advise in the next half hour - please??!

Love these - short and to the point, thank you! I will feel odd handing over coins though.

They can give you change

No and there’s no need to give the exact money. If they only take cash they need to be able to make change. Ours also accepts bank transfers.
