Genius methods of cleaning the interior car windscreen?

I can't seem to get the inside of the windscreen sparkling clean. It always ends up streaky.

Not helped, I suspect, by me not having lovely long arms to reach the top and the bottom of the screen. I have one of those long handled wands with a microfibre cloth, but even that isn't keeping it properly clean.

Anyone with any tried and tested "definitely will work" methods of interior car window cleaning?

Yep this works

Also I find threatening to cut DH's arms off when he cant be bothered to wait for the screen to demist and goes to wipe with his hand really helps

I wear varies and need a sparkly clean screen else Im dazzled . Im that particular I only ever use a new cloth or paper on the glass, any hint of it being used else where, not going on my windscreen

The insides of car windows seem to get some sort of weird greasy film on them for some odd reason, don't they? It is really hard to remove, and wet wipes seem to make the smears worse rather than better.

Just lately and after many decades of trying all sorts, I've tried a new method. Washing-up bowl with some washing-up liquid in hot water and a microfibre dishcloth to clean the inside of the windscreen in small sections - and you have to go over it at least twice, wringing the cloth out in the soapy water each time. It's amazing the amount of dirt that comes off. Then use kitchen roll to dry off.
