Has the heatwave brought out the worst in people lately?

Anyone else find the general public’s behaviour depressing? Obviously not everyone but the heatwave especially has brought out the worst in people.

Fights in my local after all day drinking in the heat, our local beach decimated by piles of rubbish every day- why won’t folk take it home??? A news story about people in London using a wildlife pond to swim in that causes stress to the birds and damages nesting sites. Heartbreaking.

Cars parked near the beach, blocking access for lifeboat staff and when challenged the car owners kicking off.

Loud music blasting out until all hours as people socialise in the gardens.

I hope it rains from now to September, people are selfish and uncaring.

I havent witnessed this. Apart from too many topless men 😂. Its been nice around here. Lots of picnics in the park, teens hanging out around the waterpark swimming and drinking but not being dicks. Everyone in quite high spirits.

I tend to agree with you op. I always say this every year, as soon as the sun is out it brings out the worst in people!
Fortunately this week I'm away in a very rural location, I've been able to enjoy the sunshine and it has been peaceful. Usually I would have to contend with the neighbours blaring out music in the garden all day

This has not been my experience no, neighbours are fine.

Traditionally hot weather does lead to trouble though - riots are more likely and football violence.
