Anyone with this virus?

I’ve felt awful for about 10 days now - really congested and snotty, sore throat, general weak hands and no-go in me at all. I felt a bit brighter a few days ago - the natural easing of any virus, but tonight - wham! Back to sore throat, congestion, snot and feeling lethargy once again.

Anyone else? This second wave of the same virus is doing my head in!

It sounds like Covid with the symptom of feeling better then suddenly sick again. It sounds awful. Take care, stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. 💐

Thought I had a cold last week and it was getting better, then sore throat and cough got worse over the weekend. So tired, and where does all the snot come from?

it's never gone away and still making people very ill.

You know others viruses exist other than Covid and do the same thing? It could be Covid, it could be plenty of other viruses. Many many viruses cause all the exact same “cold” symptoms. And plenty can go away and come back a bit.

We felt unwell. My son was admitted to hospital recently (epilepsy) and they swabbed him for flu. It was positive. All of us had been vaccinated last autumn. God, we were ill. Symptoms very much like COVID.

Docs think it was the flu that kicked off his epilepsy. Really alarming that he was in A&E right next to vulnerable elderly for 48 hours before we were all isolated. They assume he got it from the gym.

So yes, it's out there skiing the rounds
