I had a food shop arrive this morning, it was a Morrisons via Amazon shop so it all arrived in brown bags some had ice blocks in. Two of the items were ice-cream which was melted and went into the bin. There was a pack of liver pate also. I'm thinking if the shopping got warm enough in transit for the ice cream to melt then probably the pate should not be trusted.
I think it was just delivered by a guy in a car, I'm not sure it was refrigerated en route, well it can't have been for the ice cream to be so melted.
Delivery was approx one hour from the store. The pate was put in the fridge as soon as I was given it.
Yes I know, probably foolish to order delivery of these things on a warm day but I will blame my DP for that one!
Would you eat the pate or not?
