I absolutely agree. This by election was unnecessary and all it's done is stirred up the facists.

My MP is one of those calling for a leadership battle- I will be writing to him if it happens. We have a huge number of Labour MPs in their first term which is leading to poor decisions that come from inexperienced, believing that the local election result was catastrophic is one of them. They should have held their nerve and backed the leader.

I'm just curious why there is so little discussion on MN about David Sullivan - (one thread - not even actually about him). It's almost as if a rich white man, close friends with a famous rich white woman, who made his money from pornography, isn't noticed on MN, even after being accused of being a disgusting multiple rapist bastard.
I've been looking for the multiple threads damning him, complaining about the lack of media coverage, demanding the government do something, and urging people to set fire to West Ham football ground, but I can't find any. Not even convinced that Elon Musk has raised this as another example of how shit the UK is.

Absolutely. The MN ones were out in force last night, proclaiming the tide has turned their way. "Their way " being burning people out of their homes and rioting, it appears.

Seems for some that burning innocent people out of their homes and causing carnage is a completely rational response to the attack - this I can never get my head around, ever.

I tell you what we need to discuss @derxa - as I'm sure you're reading here - is why the far right absolutely love events like this, so they can whip up fury and violence. Which they then use to 'prove' that law and order in the UK is failing. All because of 'illegal immigration'.

The poor man at the heart of this is forgotten in the outpouring of mindless hate and violence.

It's part of the low rent mindset.
