I read it when I was 15. I keep meaning to reread it but it’s such a huge slab of a book I quail a bit when I look at it. I’m sure I wouldn’t enjoy it as much now.

I enjoyed the first book. Slogged through the second. Have not read the third.

I think Sam Freedman has the right idea

I don't just want J D Vance to go to hell. I want him to go to the ancient Greek hell where food/water is always just out of reach or he has to push a rock up a hill forever.

My Dh just said nearly word for word the same he rarely talks politics, Vance really annoyed him.

Vance's Greek version of hell would have an uncomfortable sofa that always has a spring digging in, somewhere tender, however he tries to position himself.

I’ve never read the books, but I really enjoyed watching the films at the cinema. I remember watching ‘The Two Towers’ with my now DH, one of the first few films we went to see together. 😀
