It's when he goes over 11 stones. He's only short, so 11 stone is more than it sounds.

He'd done really well recently, lost a stone and stopped snoring, although he won't have it that there's a link. I've been "advising" him for the last few weeks it's creeping back on (from looking at him), but he felt not enough to be concerned. Then this weekend the snoring has started. This morning the scales say 157llbs.

As I said, he is tiny so a stone shows on him. At 10st he's technically overweight. He also loves his food and will gain easily on "mansized" portions. Which is all his choice, but means he snores!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Hi op. Yes, it's weight related for my dh too. What works for him is intermittent fasting too. Not eating after about 6 or 7pm in the evening reduces inflammation and reduces his snoring. It also helps the weight loss. Win win!

What to do about it is the thing....

Could he have sleep apnea? Look up the Epworth score & see if anything resonates.

It’s inflammation. Reduce carbs and he will stop
