Baby shower (or showers)

What is the etiquette for baby showers, only for the first baby or 2nd and 3rd babies too?

Only for the first child. But preferably not at all tbh.

Whatever you want really. I’ve never had one, or been to one as they’re not my thing, but if you like them then crack on and do them for as many children as you want. I’m guessing it’s more a get together than an actual shower of presents - you’ve probably got all you need baby stuff related if you’re on your third!

Only for first baby, unless you are a bit crass. And it’s a cultural/class thing. You have to feel out of if you or the person you are thinking of hosting one for fits the culture/class where it would be acceptable. Like for me, not the done thing in my social circle. I’ve never been to a baby shower. It would be considered quite weird.
