This just popped up for me. I'd totally forgotten about Cherry Menlove! Remember the fall out in a coffee shop over koi carp, or something?!

Pleasant enough vibe, but dusting this must be like painting the Forth Bridge!

I've never heard of her, that level of clutter and tat everywhere makes me shudder especially all those dried flowers on the walls 😬

Yes, the dried flowers looked very dusty to me.

I couldn't stand that much clutter around the hob. It must all be oily. Grim.

I really liked her back in the day. I even bought her book and made the pumpkin donuts which were really good! I’m a sucker for lifestyle bloggers though.

I'll be honest: I really think she's a bit shit really. It's all whispered enthusiasm, with nothing actually interesting behind it.

Having said that, I can't help but look!

She consciously uncoupled (🤮) from her husband in 2018 according to her Instagram.

I used to follow her a bit, but the blog I really liked and followed for years was Sarah Taylor in Ohio. Sadly she died about a year ago in her 50s and I miss reading her blog. I've never found another blog I've liked as much so don't read any now

Didn't her husband have cancer?

Yes they divorced which I thought was sad.

The cafe and bakery? Turned into a home ware shop.

I think he had cancer when the twins were 1, but they are probably mid teens now so it looks like he made a full recovery. I remember seeing photos of him at the time, he looked pretty ill.
