Is the Mirena Coil causing this or the start of menopause?

I'm 51, have Mirena in since October 2022. It's been great overall, no periods, except for the last couple of months I've had light intermittent periods, I've also had a few migraines over the last year or so, something I've never suffered with before.

Today, I'd slight cramps, a little bleeding and a migraine, which made me feel nauseous.

Is this Mirena wearing off, I wonder and should I book an appointment with GP? Not on any HRT

Absolutely no medical expertise, but I started to get similar at 49 on the mini pill after years of no periods - it was like it wasn’t enough to hold back peri! I now have a Mirena and oestrogen gel. The Mirena lasts longer than four years (I was at the doctor for an ENT thing a few weeks ago and asked him as I was leaving, because mine is four years in July) so probably worth making an appointment to see what’s what.
