DD17 Interrailing

DD is going to Europe with 7 friends and has just been complaining that she won’t be able to get into any nightclubs as she’s 17. The others (bar one) are all 18.
I’ve googled nightclubs in Europe and they are all 18+.
Does anyone have any experience of this?

My boy August born and thankfully him and friends are specifically the day after he turns 18!

Where I live in Southern Europe they do have over 18 restrictions in most clubs and having proper EU ID cards it’s checked throughly. Younger teens go clubbing, in the same clubs but only on certain nights when it’s advertised as 14-18 nights.
Open air beach bars which are usually open through the day, aperitivi in the later afternoon etc aren’t the same and don’t have the same policies as a club which are an enclosed space and things like age and capacity are more closely monitored.

My ds had a late Aug birthday, so he and his friend had to wait until the day after his birthday before going interrailing, because all the hostels they were considering staying at wouldn’t accept a 17year old.

forget the nightclubs, I’d be concerned about the hostels. And they WILL ask for passport

I think the norm is to wait till the whole group is 18
