Rash for 2 months - could it be progesterone?

Hi all, just looking for some insight please.

I’m 46, started HRT about a year ago due to perimenopause. I had the combination patches. Told doc I was still getting HRT symptoms, and hormonal migraines (have always had them), so they changed me to oestrogen only patches with 100mg progesterone tablet a day.

That was in October. For the past 3 months I've had a worsening unexplained rash. I thought it might be stress, but stress has reduced a little but that hasn’t helped. I’ve ruled out all the usual things, been to doctors 3 times - steroid creams, anti-fungal cream (made it much worse), scabies treatment (wasn’t scabies), and am still no further ahead and very fed up with it. Taking antihistamines day and night.

It started in my hair, just above the nape of my neck on both sides, then spread down my neck, then arms, then sides and thighs. Now back in earnest on neck and back. A mixture of cluster bumps, raised hive type areas, bleeds easily when scratched. No idea how to categorise it. Have run photos through various AI apps, and still nothing definitive.

Anyone had this sort of thing from progesterone? A few months after starting it?
