Stand mixer which isn't too noisy

I'm looking for a stand mixer which isn't too noisy, I can't afford kitchenaid or kenwood, my budget is about £100 max but can stretch a bit. I currently have a tower one but it is very noisy and I'm not impressed with it's mixing. I've been looking but there are so many different ones and I don't want to waste money.

Would you consider a used one? They are the sort of thing that a lot of people buy and then get rid of because they don’t use them much. A very quick look at Gumtree brought up quite a few. You could ask around friends and family in case someone has one that they no longer use. We do use ours a lot but when we upgraded it to something bigger to cope with DH’s bread making we have the our old one away and it’s still going strong. Ours have all been Kenwood and they are great.

I have bought a secondhand one on ebay for £115, it's working really well and I think dh wishes I'd bought one years ago😆
