Never seen it, worth a watch?

It’s basically one of those Hallmark movies about a smalltown girl who’s gone to the big city and forgotten her roots and is forced to go back home for the first time in years and rediscovers fuzzy, cutesie hick values and starts wearing double denim again.

Harmless fluff. I wouldn’t mind watching it again. Matthew McConaughey is in it, which is always a plus point.

It’s a great movie and worth watching. Reese and Patrick Dempsey are stars but all the lesser known cast to me were more interesting. His glass shop was filmed at Simon Pierce glass if you want to give it a look online

Aw I love this film!! 22 years old now I still remember going to see it at 14 at the cinema
I love it

And it’s Josh Lucas not Matthew McConaughey.

Just realised I’ve muddled actors -it’s Josh Lucas! Still lovely, mind.

Yes, great fun!

Reece Witherspoon can do fluffy and serious very well and has made a successful career doing it. This was one of her early performances.

Yes, it's a brilliant movie. One of my top 10.

No woman on God's green earth can play "Mad, Demented, Evil Cow" like Candice Bergen!

That's a bit like saying Krug Champagne is a fizzy white wine.

It's true, but the overall quality is much, much superior to the others.

Harmless fun. I watched it when I was away on a business trip with a colleaguefriend (we got on great while we were colleagues but totally lost touch after changing jobs) and we had a free evening and decided to go to the cinema, so it was purely a "because that's what's on tonight" decision. It was fine, didn't hate it, don't remember much of it but don't regret the time as wasted.
