Swimming on period?

Does anyone have any suggestions please. We’re off on holiday tomorrow and DD aged 12 has just got her period. She doesn’t want to wear a tampon and usually wears pads. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

You can get period swim wear now , not sure where you can buy it in person though…

I’m not sure if you’d be able to get any in time but the only other option is period swimwear. I think primark might sell it if there’s one nearby

We had this last year and fortunately swimming period pants, just found with googling. Do some research, options available, which we didn't have at that age.

Thanks everyone, I’ve not heard of period swimwear! Hopefully I will be able to pick some up.
