I need to talk about Lions Mane….

Right I don’t work for Nutrition Geek or anything like that. I just need to talk about this.

lions mane focus+ supplement.

So I don’t have a diagnosis of ADHD and I don’t identify as a person with ADHD but I do think that I have some traits. I have always struggled with overwhelm. My house is a mess. So easily distracted etc etc.

I’m actually genuinely baffled by the difference this stuff makes after a few days. It’s so weird. I don’t really feel any different in an obvious way, I don’t feel like I have more energy, there isn’t really anything tangible; but I do find my productivity is soooo much better. I’m more motivated, more focused. My house is clean. It’s like, the overwhelmed fog clears and I know where to start.

Stopped taking it for a couple of weeks and my house returned to its usual messy state and I was quite flat and frozen by “overwhelm” again. It cannot be a coincidence surely.

I’m always sceptical of these sorts of things (tried this stuff in a bit of desperation) but I’m struggling to be sceptical about this.

I was just wondering if anyone had any similar experience with this stuff??

My colleague who thinks she has undiagnosed ADHD takes it and absolutely swears by it.

Someone recommended it to me on a similar basis. I was foolish enough not to research it and as I mentioned earlier, took it on top of my ADHD meds. It made me feel really awful for hours - hard to describe but extremely unpleasant and I had to stop work for the afternoon. Luckily it’s not long lasting - or the horrible effects ended when my other meds wore off - but it was a nasty reminder that innocuous looking and sounding supplements can have serious side effects.
