How long did a paper-based PIP decision take after paperwork?

If you have a paper based PIP assessment how long did you wait once they had all the information needed for a response / award?

I’ve been waiting 5 weeks now since the DWP were given all the paperwork I had read that paper based assessments were quicker but not sure now.

I got the award letter for my son about 3 weeks after I received the letter saying theyd got everything to make a decision.
Payments then began a month after. He was moving from DLA to Pip.

@Endoadnowarriordid you have a face to face assessment? I had a phone call last week - was told no face to face needed and am wondering how long it will be now!

It’s also a dla to pip application for us I just thought it would be a quicker process. We had to submit forms back in November then it took till April to get a call about it being a paper based assessment and they had a few questions and now we’ve been waiting weeks

No call or face to face assessment, was all done as a paper based assessment as I requested that as the most suitable for my son.
Hope you find out very soon x
