fillers or facelift - you dont really want to fill the folds though, you add structure to the cheek to lift them.

Lizzbear · 19/05/2026 22:34

cheek fillers helped mine

Eggybreadwithnuts · 19/05/2026 23:10

How often do you have them done? @Lizzbear

I think fillers in cheeks look awful and unnatural- I’ll be having a mini facelift

dogtot · 20/05/2026 06:00

fillers lasted around 2.5 years for me. high up on the cheek bone, not around the apple -just make sure you go somewhere with genuine medical expertise (nurse / dentist led rather than just beautician) and look at examples of their previous work on facebook/Instagram to see if they "do" faces that you feel look natural or if they are the type of places giving people the odd look.

Filler in the NLF can be great. But don’t chase perfection. Just a small amount 1-2ml. Also focus on the cause of the fold- which is volume loss in other areas of the skin and a reduction of collagen.
Sculptra and possibly filler at the back part of the face (temples, infront of the ear and back of jaw) to support, will be helpful in combination.

My nasolabial folds and marionette lines have really improved with collagen. I use Feel Pro Collagen and noticed a difference after about a month.
I also now do 5 minutes of face yoga and gua sha most days for my saggy neck and jowls. I feel like they makes a big difference. Gua sha tools are cheap to buy and there are tutorial videos on YouTube.

Which face yoga do you do? I had read years ago that if you do the exercises badly it can make things worse so I didn't go down that route but your comment is one of a few recently recommending face yoga.

@Sallyyoohoo I really dont want fillers or anything injecting into me so interested in the collogen. Although many reports dont actually show evidence it works and soooo many influences promoting the stuff obvs for £££ BUT Im opwn to trying it to see.

LauravegTT's videos on Tiktok convinced me to try it. I will try to post the videos for you to see the before and after. I think it shows a noticeable change in her face.
She does have a 20% off code but I'm not sure if it's still valid as her posts are from last year and I forgot to use it.

About once a year. Or every year and a half. They make my features look more attractive as my cheeks were too flat and not rounded or feminine looking enough!

I’ve had my nasolabial folds done and it’s made a huge difference to how youthful and fresh I look. I think it’s the one place you can put filler that isn’t obvious

@stupididiot12345 thats the ideal solution but just dont like the idea of injecting stuff in my face.

Emlift is incredible. Lifts my whole face. I had a course and now every 3 months. Also collagen (Wild Nutrition one is the best I’ve found).
