If you had IVF once it was all booked did you stop trying? I don’t know if it will help me accept things if we stop but there’s that’s part of me that hopes it’ll happen last minute (it won’t it’s been 6 years!!!) but I feel stressed about it.
maybe it’s the last bit of control I have ?

No. We conceived last minute and had to ring the clinic with days to go to say I was pregnant!

I Haven’t personally had IVF , but would assume that you’d continue having ( unprotected ) sex as normal within your relationship , without timing it around ovulation etc, just sex for fun as it were

We TTC until they told us to stop. In realise this is counter intuitive but I'm sure with the 1st round they put me on the pill for maybe 2 weeks. I have a very regular cycle anyways, but vaguely think it was for perfect timing or regulating something. I do recall them saying not to TTC- but I think that was after starting the IVF meds 🤔

Edited to say they didn't put me on the pill for any other cycle so really not sure what that was about now.

No we didn’t stop until we were told to. In fact our consultant told us to keep trying when we had the appointment with him and were given our date for starting IVF.
