Is anyone going to Japan soon who could do me a huge favour?

My dd went to Japan last year with friends and bought a pair of pyjamas from the shop Gu (Japanese Uniqlo I think).

The bottoms have mysteriously gone missing from our house. If anyone is going on holiday and could see if they still have them (or similar) in this shop, I’d be very grateful!

Find them online and get them

Maybe look on Vinted? It’s a bit of an ask for someone to go to Gu, bring them back to UK, ship them to you, all for an adult daughter. It’s not like a lost toy for a toddler.

Uniqlo is Japanese Uniqlo. Gu is a different shop. And there's no way they will have the same pyjamas in stock now.

But harsh - there are lots of very helpful people on here who don’t mind doing a favour like that.

Anyone who has ever been to Japan knows that you need every bit of luggage space for all the cool stuff you buy for yourself! No-one is going to be squeezing in PJs for a stranger!

Makes me think of that bag thread earlier this year where somebody wanted an M and S (I think?) bag getting for them.
It all got a bit out of hand....

Uniqlo is a Japanese company originally, and it is known as Uniqlo in Japan. Gu is its sister company.

GU is fast fashion OP. They won’t stock the same ones.

You've already asked this and got the same replies months ago - she must really love those £5 pj's!

You cannot order directly from the GU Japan online store for delivery to the UK, however you can use a proxy shopping service like Japan Rabbit or zen, which will purchase and forward your items. Yes it costs more but you can buy things from Japan.

Apologies OP I didn’t realise you were the poster with the long running thread about your DD. It’s worth keeping an eye on Vinted there is some Gu on there.
