Boring but essential!

Need a new iron. Never usually spend more than £50ish but willing to go up to £250 for something that is so amazing the clothes actually looks good and doesn’t take
ages….

I’ve got a decent, newish corded iron and a new brabantia ironing board. Just ironing a t shirt and it took 3 goes and still looks creased! I’m even wondering if my old metallic but threadbare cover was better?

A Tefal Steam generator is the best I’ve used and I’ve tried loads including a Fastpress. I also have two ironing board covers on the board to give a better surface to iron on.

I have a GV9569 and it really cuts down on ironing time.

The philips steam generator. I bought one in 2017 and it is still brilliant

Is an iron essential?
I believe we could have a huge debate here.
(I never iron anything)

Philips steam generator perfect care. You won’t regret it! I used to have a cleaning company and we did housekeeping as well. I only used these irons and when the houses needed new irons they all bought the perfect care ones on my recommendation. I won’t use anything else although am tempted by laurastar but never tried one!
