Sky TV…..is it worth it?

Yup, in the big old 2026 I’ve never had Sky.we pay so many different streaming services now though that I’m considering it.

one thing I’m confused about though is the Netflix/disney aspect. Do you log in to your account separately still, or is it all just one general account?
so, if I want to watch Netflix on my iPad instead of sky tv, can I still do that?

It's not worth it

No

I can't remember but you won't need two accounts. I think you use your Netflix email account and then get the charged stopped,

I love it . I'm unwell with Cancer so watch a lot of TV . I can also watch Netfix and some of the other apps when I'm at the hospital . I've tried some of the other providers but they're not a patch on Sky . The customer service is good and it's easy to get through .

Not anymore. Especially as now they don’t offer Sky Q boxes anymore so you can’t record. It’s all streaming. You can get now TV if you want sky channels it’s a lot cheaper.

If you already pay separately for Netflix and Disney - and less popular, but HBO - then I think Sky possibly is worth it. I pay £25 per month for Sky Stream Ultimate package, and that includes Netflix, Disney and HBO. When you first join you can also activate Paramount for free (I got 6 months but think it’s 9 months at the moment). That doesn’t include internet, but I think it’s a reasonable price for tv - noting that these are the ‘with ads’ versions, but I don’t find them particularly intrusive; it’s not like 4 minutes worth of adds ala ch4 or itv.

And yes, you just link the Netflix/disney account you already have so can continue watching on iPad etc.

It's not worth it, no.

95% of Sky is the Premier League - everything else is mindless cheap shite.
